Cobra S40C 16" Petrol Powered Scarifier

This 40cm 16" width S40C scarifier from Cobra is easy to move around the lawn and with two cassettes it will clear heavy thatch and moss encouraging the grass to thicken and grow healthy.

The easy pull starting 212cc four-stroke engine is smooth running and quiet while having enough power to turn the blade even when in the deepest setting working in the grassroots. It can be run on unleaded petrol or Aspen 4 fuel if you wish to run cleaner and environment friendly.

Setting the scarifying depth is at the twist of a dial on the front of the machine. The depths range from +5mm to -15mm giving a good range for all types of lawn hard or soft.

The two cassettes are easy to change over. The solid metal tine has 18 fixed blades that can get down into the grass roots and thatch giving light slitting to encourage new grass to grow and exposing the roots to sun and light making them stronger. In season you can fit the 24 spring tine rake to take out any dead grass without scarifying too heavy letting the lawn recover quicker and keep it green and lush.
